Great ORGANIC coffee! We also enjoyed a really tasty salad and cup of soup. The cookies and cupcakes looked good, but we didn't have any this visit. Wonderful to have vegetarian and vegan options.

This is a little quaint cafe and gift shoppe. Huge menu and all organic. They also have a large selection of vegan and gluten free items. They serve fresh salads, sandwiches, soups and sweets. They also have a wide variety of smoothies, coffees, and bottled water and specialty items. A great place to go for lunch! The staff is very nice. Good prices - not good for large groups.

This place is a great addition to an otherwise bleak downtown New Baltimore. I've only been here twice but each time was good. I've had two of the smoothies and a sandwich (mushroom and onion melt). I think all of the bread is gluten free but it would be nice to see an option of regular type bread. They also have soaps and lotions that I've heard good things about and are made by the owner. Give this place a try and after go down the street for some great wine at Washington Street Winery.

Everything about this place is awesome -- from its quaint small-town charm to its friendly employees! But the thing that stands out most in my mind is their chocolate chip cookies! I was lucky enough to get there right when the owner was pulling a fresh batch out of the oven. The cookie was the perfect ending to a delicious lunch (which this time around was their homemade Black Bean Soup). It's nice to finally have such a delicious healthy alternative right in downtown New Baltimore!

This small cafe (seats maybe 20) is really good! Menu is organic, natural fed meats, variety of salads, sandwiches and soups. For the price $7 something and that was with a coupon, my 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup was not very filling. A side roll and tortilla chips would have been nice add-ons to make it more filling. It all tasted great!

Great having vegan options in this area! I'm slightly addicted to the basil hummus wrap, grilled. It's amazing. I need to stop my addiction so I can try other things. Service is always friendly and cares/caters to dietary concerns. Add the (vegan) syrups in your coffee- yummy Carmel flavor.

I just love this place. Amazing food. Pretty good prices for the most part. Fresh juices and coffees are extremely good. Sandwiches of course perfect. Everything here is amazing. Stop here for a full tummy for hours!

My husband and I stopped in here on our way up to Algonac for the day. This turned out to be a adorable little sandwich/salad shop. I had the michigan salad and a veggie sandwich. The michigan salad was great, but the veggie sandwich could have used a little more flavor. I forget which sandwich my husband had (not that it helps, but I remember it being good), and he had their mexican salad which had a lot of good flavor! I did think it was a bit pricey, but I would still go back. Oh yes, and they also have delicious smoothies, I recommend the funky monkey!

I love this place. Everything is fresh, organic, and homemade. They have so many options to accommodate dietary restrictions. They sell lotions etc. The service is great. I could keep going but what it comes down to is you should absolutely eat here.

This experience was lovely! I had shared 2 vegan wraps between me and my boyfriend. The cashier/server was incredibly kind and gave us a nice description of the options available. We were the last customers that night, going to a concert nearby. When I contacted them on facebook on vegan soups, they even remebered me and asked how the concert went! They are super friendly and the food quality is fantastic. To be honest, I thought the vegan wrap was going to run-of-the-mill, ordinary wrap that you usually get, but this exceeded my expectations! We got both our wraps grilled, which i recommend doing if you'd like it nice and warm. The hummus and chips were an awesome side to it too(: the wraps tasted really earthly and healthy, and delicious! They definitely earned 5/5 and whenever im in town next i will definitely stop by and try a vegan soup!

Wow, what a fantastic place!! This place is amazing. I never expected to find a (mostly) corn free restaurant in this area. The owner is passionate about good food, real food, and it was such a pleasure to eat here today. I was thrilled to have my SW turkey sandwich on a coconut wrap- grilled like a panini, it was amazing!! This is the first restaurant where my son can pretty much eat anything and I don't have to worry about him getting sick or limit him to a bun less burger and fries. They even have real ketchup here! I can't rave enough about this place if you've got multiple food allergies or stick to a Paleo diet. Everything here was delicious and I'm looking forward to going back soon.

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful cafe! The workers at the Little Mustard Seed are incredibly kind and incredibly knowledgable about every product and every item on the menu. Quite refreshing actually! I've been here countless times and am always welcomed in with a smile and a kind hello. As for the many delicious things on the menu, I cannot decide on my favorite but I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookies if you're in for something sweet. While I haven't tried any of the soups or salads yet, I will soon. The sandwiches are quite filling and scrumptious and I sometimes catch myself craving something good like this after one of my daily 4 mile runs. My favorite sandwich is the Mediterranean, which I order on a plain ciabatta and usually order with carrot sticks and hummus. For sides, you can also order chips and salsa or chips and guacamole as well! If you're in for a meal that's super quick and cheap, this place isn't for you. The menu items, while some may say overpriced, are decent considering the amount of local, organic ingredients in them. I have no problem spending the usual $11-$13 on a meal because not only is it filling and satisfying, but also because it's made fresh. If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping into the cute and quant Little Mustard Seed Cafe!

Love this place! Owner and waitstaff are so friendly! You can really tell that the owner cares for everyone and wants everyone healthy and most importantly informed about the truths of our current food system! Not just another restaurant claiming to be something their not...she really works so hard to run this place & make all her dishes with love!! She even has her little daughter (5-6 years old?) run the register sometimes! Love that!! So many organic /vegan options on their menu..& for the price you do get a decent amount, most importantly you feel GOOD after your meal..not all lazy and run down..isn't that the way food is supposed to make you feel?!? :D This is exactly what New Baltimore needs!!! Support locally and feel good about it in every way! Boutique has great home made / organic / fair trade gifts for all ages (some great eco friendly baby toys too!) I've been here many many times, & I will continue to support and recommend this cute cafe to anyone!!

I could never eat inside this place due to the soaps that they also sell. To me, the smell is so overwhelming I can hardly stand to be in the place. Maybe a carryout some day.

Great place in New Baltimore. you can grab healthy sandwich, smoothy, or even grab a cup of coffee. But the owner makes all her own soaps, facial scrubs, and lotions. My wife and I are avid users and believers. My wife is in the beauty industry and deals with many products, but these are the ones she uses and suggests for her skin care. Also they carry a lot of made in Michigan stuff, or free trade items for purchase. Gotta check it out!

Made a day trip to New Baltimore for mass service, Winterfest and lunch. Mustard Seed Cafe was our ultimate focus for the day trip. What a quaint, inviting restaurant, small yet warm. The menu offered primarily panini style sandwiches, grilled or not, two soups for the day, and smoothies, coffee and teas. Our interest is healthy, natural, organic cuisine with strong support for Michigan made/grown entrepreneurship. Needless to say we were looking forward to visiting Cathy at Mustard Seed Cafe. We dined in, and also ordered carryout for a couple special need clients we provide care staffing for. Three of the four sandwiches were cold cut meats on some sort of ciabatta bread. The ones we ate at the restaurant were oily/greasy and did not taste that appealing. One of the carry outs was made with a real chicken breast and was delish. The second carry out was also not that appealing and cold cuts. Prices were high, and service was slow. Owner was very personable.

Great food for your tummy! Fresh and made from great people! I love the frozen vegan drinks. The hummus is Mae fresh ad great on a sandwich. The soups and chili are hearty and tasteful. First Tim d I tried zucchini noodles: ) I take my friends there for lunch for good food and service. Can't go too often for the price is a bit higher than a regular lunch place but you pay more for organic.

Never disappoints. One of our favorite places, especially since our granddaughter cannot have gluten and has an egg allergy. Food is incredibly fresh and always delicious. Salads and sandwiches ...yummy. Fresh organic coffee too is great. Just tried the cookies there...sumptuous, can't believe they were gf and egg free too. My daughter has purchased gf cookies at other bakeries and she said the ones here were far and away the best. Oh and the people that work there are super!

My friend's family and I drove 40 minutes to get to this wonderful place! I had been a year before and still had wonderful thoughts of their cupcakes. The sandwich was healthy and delicious, the cupcakes were amazing and I ordered a cake for my birthday with delivery set up for my area. The atmosphere is kid-friendly and really has a wonderful tone. I would love for them to open one closer to me. Highly recommend!!
